VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITY: Treasurer / Board Member

The Acadia Cinema Cooperative (ACC) is seeking a community member with business and/or accounting experience, with an interest in arts based organizations.

Responsibilities of this role include:

• Overseeing the financial operations of the ACC

• Working in collaboration with Theatre manager in preparing and reporting quarterly on the operations budget

• Preparing a year end report for submissions to an accountant

• Advising the ACC Board on all financial decision-making

• Acting as a Board Member for ACC (Board meetings are typically monthly and take place in-person in Wolfville)

As treasurer, you will join a collaborative, enthusiastic group of board members who are committed to arts-based programming in the Annapolis Valley.
