  • Al Whittle Theatre 450 Main Street Wolfville, NS, B4P 1E2 Canada (map)
Poster

This newly restored and remixed documentary follows Oregon punk/garage rock/folk band Dead Moon on the road and chronicles the evolution of a group whose members have been part of the underground music scene for four decades. Live performances, archival footage, interviews and home movies flesh out this profile of a truly unique band. Members include singer-songwriter Fred Cole on guitar, his wife Toody Cole on bass and Andrew Loomis on drums.

Presented with support by Old Town Records, this will be a landmark event for music fans across the province.

Doors open at 6pm for a record (Old Town Records) + zine (Condundrum Press) + skate fair in Jack's Gallery lobby, followed by a live music set in tribute to Dead Moon, on stage at 7:30pm (band TBA). The presentation of this newly restored version of the film (that not many eyes have yet seen) will begin at 8pm, followed by a live Q&A over video with co-director Jason Summers.

For the first 30 orders online there will be a giveaway of merch and goodies, with the RATS booklets and various Dead Moon related stickers provided by Szim. Subject to availability, can be picked up only at the event.

Old Town Records will provide door prizes so everyone has a chance to win something!
