renovated Al Whittle Theatre!
Wolfville's newest soft-seat venue features
160 comfortable seats, each with a prime view of both stage
and screen! In addition to a 16' by 30' projection screen,
stylish black drapes, a 26' x 40' sprung wooden stage floor,
and nice gear for live sound production, the theatre also
features a complete Dolby Digital 5.1 cinema sound system,
and some very swinging, state-of-the-art acoustical wall panels.
Since the fall of 2004, when it officially opened
its doors, the Al Whittle Theatre has hosted a large array
of events including:
• music concerts
• dance performances
• live theatre
• film screenings
• fundraisers
• meetings
• literary readings
• rehearsals
• and more
In addition to the Al Whittle Theatre, the Community
Room, 22' x 40' multi-purpose room above the theatre lobby,
is available for rental (by the performance, by the week,
or by the hour) for rehearsals, small performances or meetings.

To request a rental booking (for the Al Whittle
Theatre or the Community Room), please contact
us.
Please note: Bookings will be considered tentative
until a signed rental contract and a deposit (or payment in
full) is received by the theatre manager. To guarantee inclusion
in our Calendar of Events,
and other facility promotions, we recommend confirming your
booking early.
